As you are getting ready to move to secondary school it's time to start thinking about this exciting new adventure :) I have attached a transition booklet for you to read, think about and complete, over the next few weeks. This afternoon from 1pm - 2pm Western approaches are offering a Free, Live History lesson. All about WW2. Anyone who completes the lesson and activities that follow will receive a free pass to Western Approaches, in Liverpool.
The lesson is available via Facebook (link below) and will also stream on YouTube. Please ask a parent/carer to log in via their Facebook account.
Good morning Year Six.
We hope you are well and enjoying some time at home with family. Please continue with your work packs and online activities this week. We are monitoring all of your online accounts on a daily basis and have allocated activities on Athletics and SPAG.com. On Friday, we will be looking to announce our 5-star of the week during a live assembly at 10am.
Here are a few bonus challenges to keep you occupied:
1. How many star jumps can you do in a minute? Then, try and beat it. Send your number of star jumps to our twitter page: @Riverside_Pri with the hashtag #AlwaysARiversider. You can also tweet any pictures of completed work from your packs.
2. Write notes of love, compliments or doodles and hide them around the house for family to find.
3. Draw a picture of an animal and then try to improve it with a second draft. Photograph the difference and upload to our twitter feed.
4. Read, read, read... The more things you read the more things you know!
Improve your personal best and take your reading test from home, just login before 4pm.
